Bio100 wwt as Problotics for Aquaculture

The use of probiotics and bacterial management in shrimp pond aquaculture can be crucial element to the success of production.

Especially for the farming of Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei), the effects of probiotics on the survival, yield and economics (cost & benifit) is well documented.

The mechanisms of how the nitrifying bacteria group (our premier strains of microbes) improve shrimp aquaculture production are :-

  1. managing water conditions, balancing and maintaining water parameters
  2. breaking down & detoxifying the waste from residual shirmp feeds and manures in the bottom soils
  3. producing pedioncins, amino acids and enyzmes (probiotics) benificial to the overall health of the animal inside the digestive tract
  4. increase the yield, survival and sizes of the shrimp at harvest
  5. reducing feed conversion ratio
  6. improving the income gained through costs reduction
